Once you have decided to participate in the Mardi Gras festivities, make sure you have your celebration planned out! We have gathered all of the parade times, schedules, and parade routes for you so you can plan your Mardi Gras itinerary with ease.

Make sure you check out some of New Orleans' most popular parades like Bacchus, Orpheus, and Endymion. Catch decorated coconuts from Zulu parade riders and decorated dress shoes from Muses.

In addition to the bags of beads you are sure to catch, each New Orleans parade has something special to offer. Listen to live local bands march down the streets in between the parade floats.

New Orleans has many parades for the weeks leading up to Fat Tuesday, so make sure to check the parade times and come early to catch them all! No two Mardi Gras parades are the same, so you we suggest you try to experience every single one. Plan accordingly, because this big celebration only happens once a year. There is no greater party to join than the one that they call Mardi Gras.
